Stories that Matter

The season of Easter isn’t just about remembering that resurrection happened. It’s about discovering what resurrection is still doing. These are the stories that refused to stay in the past-stories of people
who doubted, questioned, wandered, and were changed anyway. This Eastertide, we’ll gather around the stories that matternot because they are tidy or certain, but because they are honest. Stories of people trying to make sense of resurrection. Stories of Jesus preparing them, and us, to live as if new life is already breaking in. Because maybe resurrection isn’t something we wait for someday…Maybe it’s something we learn to recognize right now.
